Class has started again and as I have seen in every aspect of the journey a lot has changed in ten years and it is not just a function of grad school versus undergrad. I had seen these with Chris’ grad school and when researching for classes last year however this is the first time I am being asked to “blog” for class. In actuality it is not blogging in the true meaning of the word – at least as I understand it. What it really is, is the professors way of modernizing writing essays and requiring students complete their readings. For each class (at least eight of them) I am going to be required to write a three to four paragraph essay (it is even in the description of the assignment). While we are required to post them blackboard for the whole class to read I will probably post them here too as a way to organize the information for the future. It is quite clear from the readings I have completed so far that every topic, writer and artist will appear again in a future reading so apparently I will never be completely free of Kant.
